What happens if I am not satisfied with CarpetFirst services?

It is highly unlikely that you may not be satisfied with CarpetFirst! services. However, if our work does not meet your expectations, we will re-do the job free of charge. 
For any problems or issues related to CarpetFirst! quality of service, simply send us your feedback within 24 hours and we will organise your carpet cleaning at your earliest convenience.

What are the payment types accepted by CarpetFirst?

Currently CarpetFirst! operates cheques or cash policy. You can simply hand it in to a member of our cleaning team once the job is completed.

Is there a minimum charge for CarpetFirst cleaning services?

All services provided by CarpetFirst! are subject to a minimum charge of £55.00.

When can I make a booking for a CarpetFirst service?

CarpetFirst customer services department is available to take your call and answer any queries between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am- 4pm on Saturday. 
Alternatively, you can use our On-line booking request form , write to us or request a Call back through our Feedback form.

Is CarpetFirst insured?

Any work undertaken by CarpetFirst! is covered by a Public Liability Insurance, Employers Liability and Treatment Risk Insurance for private dwellings, offices, shops, restaurants and hospitals.  

Do you guarantee CarpetFirst services?

CarpetFirst can guarantee that all services will be carried out to highest standarts for your complete satisfaction. 
However, if we do not meet your expectations, a CarpetFirst! team will re-do the job FREE OF CHARGE for the best possible results.

Does CarpetFirst provide all cleaning equipment, products and materials?

Our CarpetFirst! cleaning teams will bring along all chemicals and equipment necessary for the perfect outcome. All you need to provide is access to your property, water and electricity and we will do the rest.

How often should I have my carpets professionally cleaned?

How often you should have your carpets professionally cleaned may vary. It depends on factors such as materials, care of usage, number of occupants, kids, pets,traffic,etc. CarpetFirst! reccommends a professional cleaning every 6-12 months as we think that hygiene is the key to good health and should be a number one priority for everybody.

How long does the drying process last?

CarpetFirst! `s experince shows that the drying process normally takes between 4-8 hours, however in cases where extensive treatment is applied it might take longer.Factors as outdoor humidity and temperature should also be taken into account.

How long will it take to clean my carpet?

On average, it will take a CarpetFirst! team approximately 20 minutes per room. This time may, however, vary depending on the amount of furniture to be moved, how dirty the carpet is and any necessary spot removal treatments.

How long do I have to wait after cleaning to let my children or pets on the carpet?

CarpetFirst! reccommends you to limit the activity on the carpet to foot traffic until the carpet is completely dry, as wet or damp surfaces are more likely to get stained again.

Won't water ruin my carpet?

Modern carpet technology is specially designed and is basically water resistant. The limited amount of water used in the cleaning process is 95% removed by the high powered machines CarpetFirst! teams use. All our equipment and products are provided by Prochem - one of the leading brands in the cleaning industry. 

Is VAT included in the price?

Yes, VAT is included! All our prices for carpet & upholstery cleaning published or quoted are inclusive of VAT.

Who pays for the parking facilities?

If the parking facilities in your area are free of charge, we will kindly ask you to secure a space for a CarpetFirst! vehicle in front of your property and if necessary provide a valid temporary parking permit.
If it is not possible for you to make parking arrangements, then the relevant parking fee will be added to your bill.
CarpetFirst! will not cover the congestion charge fee if you are based within the London congestion charge area. It will be added to the final bill.

Are you working in the weekend?

For your convenience, CarpetFirst! `s teams are available all weekend according to prior arrangements.

Is there extra charge for cleaning in the weekend?

CarpetFirst! prides itself in customer loyalty and satisfaction and therefore our prices are final. There are NO extra charges for visiting you on a weekend.

Do I need to move furniture?

A tidy and uncluttered area allows us to work more efficiently. We advise that you clear away all items or at least the light furniture to prevent any possible damages and to allow cleaners to reach all possible areas.
